Forgiveness is a process. When the emotional wound is "deep enough" - the very "sound of "THEIR NAME" can "bring back" the "moment". (Listen, I have "BEEN THERE")!!

The man I loved ("til death do us part) - tried to "KILL ME""!! (talking about taking vows seriously)!! When I tell you, he "made me "WANT TO DIE"!! #BelieveThat!!!

When the "tide" changed and "HE" got 4th stage cancer - I was at a crossroad. Do I "hate him" until he dies or do I put this "OFFENSE" on the altar? I chose to pray for his salvation and yes, I "FORGAVE HIM". When at "HIS FUNERAL", I asked the mortician could I "touch him". For years, 'HE" tried to put "ME" in a coffin - now here I am eulogizing the man who wanted "ME" dead. What a "sweet freedom" for me to know that "BEFORE" he passed away, God gave "ME" time to "FORGIVE". Oh, no - the pain "HAPPENED" to me - I just began the process of "FORGIVING" and it set "ME FREE".

No matter where "YOU" are in your quest to "move on" from an "OFFENSE" - do "YOURSELF" a HUGE favor and "GIVE IT TO GOD". It may take "TIME" - and that's perfectly "OKAY".

The cost of "FREEDOM" is sometimes paved with "blood", "sweat" and "tears".

You will "THANK YOURSELF" for the "burden-removing" "yoke destroying" GIFT OF FORGIVENESS.

Greetings. My name is Deborah. Let me introduce mysel

Greetings. My name is Deborah. Let me introduce myself to you. The journey of my life has been a painful one with being a SURVIVOR of domestic abuse being part of this life adventure. My abuser used to “choke” me as his form of “submission” but in God’s everlasting love for me – what the enemy meant for evil – God meant for my good. The irony of my saga of surviving domestic abuse is that my abuser passed away with terminal cancer – in his throat. Oh, no – I do not take gloat in the fact that he passed away – but – I “DO” know that BEFORE he transitioned into eternity – he knew what it felt like to be “choked” – just like he did to me. Along this “roller coaster” of life – I lost several close family members and the grief was overwhelming. Why is this part of my “story”? I want YOU to know how well I understand pain but I also understand recovery!!

There is no “silver bullet” that will render the right amount of ammunition to dull the sensation of what life “throws” at us. Recovery and restoration is an “inside job” and I might add – it is not always “easy”. On the contrary, “finding yourself” after a series of “blows” is difficult – but NOT IMPOSSIBLE. I am PROF that that “cloud” you may believe you are under – DOES have a silver lining. I am using my journey to now help others. Truth is, everyone has suffered on some level or another. HOW one navigates their life AFTER the “incident” will determine how fruitful you are with YOURSELF.

You will NOT regret the day you look in the mirror and realize that you DESERVE better. That one epiphany that launches you from where you are to where you want to be will be the first step towards living the life that you deserve and desire.

“Deborah’s Freedom” is steadfast on believing that everyone has the ability to dig out of the quagmire of frustration and embrace a future that pales in comparison to the mediocre existence we can easily settle for.

“I am THANKFUL for ALL of it!! The highs the lows. The blessings and the lessons. The setbacks and the comebacks. The love and the hate. “

The combination of ALL of these elements make me the VICTORIOUS WOMAN I AM TODAY!!

Donations are earmarked for the administrative costs for my own time, energy and resources to keep “Deborah’s Free” the thriving unit it has become over nearly five years.

Additionally, “Deborah’s Free” is honored to “Pay It Forward”. One woman was living in her car with her two grandchildren and was grateful that “Deborah’s Free” was instrumental to allowing her and her grandchildren to sleep in a bed (not her car) until she was

able to get safer stable living quarters.

While “time IS money” – there will be a charge for dedicated time offered to become your “cheerleader” to reach your goals.
